Not sure what the point is. You can record with another device, or you can screen record with a lightning connector on your Macs QuickTime player. And where is the encryption details? Is the code open to the public? No, its not. Bye.

Just as easy and so much safer than texting!
Not sure if its this company or their affiliates, but they are simply sending spam... With no info, to males (I assume) saying ... You need to go here and read. Then download THEN SIGN UP. well I had to do all that to leave a review. Its spam!! I have the product and it does nothing. Nor do they care how their affiliates get you. This app isnt important now, nor will it ever be. Its amateur run, you can tell in an instant. Next time guys, just make something people like, instead of making people like something you happen to make.
No crashing, no glitches so far. Once it is setup, the App works as advertised! AppleWatch app is kind of useless, just shows that you have a message. The watch app would be better if you could dictate messages, but maybe that is something I havent discovered yet.
I like this App. We certainly need confidential communication these days. But Confide’s means of displaying messages is very annoying - not showing the whole message, making users slide a finger down to read line by line - is very annoying. And then the message disappears. I don’t want a “confidential Snapchat”. I want an easy to use confidential messaging service that allows me to keep or delete messages when I choose to…. And allows me to see the entire message at once. A good start, but could be a lot better.
pretty much a cross of telegram and snapchat
Perfect for terrorists...
I tried to set up an account but I get a pop up that says "account setup failed", every time!
I just downloaded the app and did a screenshot. I can see the text on the image, and the only thing that happened was the message closing. No screenshots? Not really.
hate it so boring
I just tried this by sending my partner a text.. In order for him to get it he has to have confide as well.. Whats the point here?? If I am sending something to someone and I dont want them to have a record of it they are certainly not going to download this app... This is BS!!!!
I agree with Roger this is a joke. When you send someone a message they must sign up for the service so its nothing more than a big advertisement. I would rather pay for the service and lose the ad so that I could just send messages to people that I dont want to keep my text or email.
Whoever you text IE, ex girlfriend, boss or enemy has to have the app on their phone for it to work. Whats the point? I deleted the app.. Good Idea though.
False advertisement: screenshots still work and it alerts the opposing party (just like Snapchat). Its basically Snapchat, but with no character limit, and no time limit. Texts and images can be viewed as long as desired until closed. Everything else operates as intended. Dont send anything you dont want screenshot anyways.
Dont listen to the other reviewers that want to use this app to send anonymous texts; its *not* designed for that. This app is for communicating securely with someone that you know. It encrypts your texts prior to sending them, so that they cannot be read by anyone as they travel to the recipient. (hello Big Brother!) it works flawlessly and does what it says it does! Keep your messages and photos private and try it out for yourself!
Contrary to popular criticism I think is brilliant!i wouldnt want these Isis moron using this app. Although a recipient would have to have the app, so what at least I suppose we dont have to worry about the NSA intercepting your text or email like most of you complain about invading your privacy, so for those critics keep using your conventional text/email app.
When a friend is invited & accepts by getting the app & sending a message, it would be hassle free if there was an add feature that worked without having to list the friends e-mail or phone. After-all, the friend has to join prior to sending a message. Now that both parties have joined & are sending & receiving messages, I find it redundant to type the friends name email or phone on my setting to be able to "add a friend" on the Confide App settings. Like the concept but can do without the premature features. This app needs more work if it is going to attract & keep more users.
So What....NO you cannot screenshot it....tried...it kicks the message out...I love this....right now...way better than SnapChat...but Im not holding my breath....someone will engineer an app that captures Confide messages just the same...hopefully someone will keep ahead of them and that wont happen...?!?
Great app I feel much safer with some of my text can use the government out of our business
Best app for encrypted chatting
